Evil Fox News

In the recent debate for the CT Democratic Senate primary Ned Lamont told Joe Liebermann that they weren't on Fox News when Liebermann was trying to point out a falsehood in one of Lamont's comments.  In one of today Daily Kos blogs entitled "CT-Sen: Someone Gets it", Kos blames Liebermann's political troubles on being "too busy spending time at the Fox News studios to head home."  This characterization of Fox News being a tool of the right that lacks credibility is hardly a rare acquisition.  However, I have a gut feeling that many that criticize Fox News, never watch it.  Though, I'm not a huge fan of Fox News, as a conservative I agree that Fox News leans slightly to the right if that.  Also, as a conservative I actually expose myself to multiple news sources, and as far as cable news is concerned I would opine that Fox News seems to be the most credible.  Maybe individuals of the far left feel as though Fox News is extremely bias because they don't constantly assault the Bush administration.

Also, I find it funny that the premise of the Kos article is that left-wing bloggers have little to do with Liebermann political situation, but rather because Liebermann is out of touch with CT's voters.  Ironically, however, they both seem to be on the exact same talking points.  First, the Fox News talking point, like Liebermann is the only Democratic Senator to appear on Fox News.  Secondly, the blog (like Lamont) points out how Liebermann is out of touch with with his party on social security reform.  Humorously, Liebermann did not support Bush's plan for the partial privatization of social security.  Also, both Lamont of this blog criticize Liebermann stance on free trade.  Living in the reality of the current geo-economic environment could only be criticized by members of the far left.
