Though Iran has continued to enrich uranium in defiance of the UN
security council's resolution calling for the cessation of all
enrichment by Aug. 31, the country is still defending its action by
claiming that their nuclear technology is for peacefull purposes
only. The U.S. and other Western countries, however, claim that
Iran is continuing their enrichment so eventually they will be able to
produce nuclear weapons. Since no one wants war, that is the U.S.
enforcing UN resolutions, many people probably find themselves asking
whether Iran can be trusted with nuclear technology. The
clear answer is no. Not only because Ahmadinejad recently called for Israel to be wiped off the map, but also because of
their past history. For the last twenty plus years Iran has
consistently said one thing and did the other. Provided is
a link that documents Iranian lies over the last twenty plus years.
